We use Google Calendar to power the ozMagic Calendar.
  • How can I add an event to my own Google Calendar?
Click on the event you would like to add. At the bottom of the fly-out window you will see a link - "Copy to my Calendar". After clicking that link, the event will open in your Google Calendar. Click "Save" to add it to your calendar.
  • I want to invite my friends to the event.
Click on the event you would like to invite your friends to. At the bottom of the fly-out window you will see a link "more details". After clicking that link, the event will open in your Google Calendar. You can invite friends by adding their email address in the "Add Guests" field.
  • What type of events can I submit to be included in the OzMagic calendar?
We are happy to promote events that are of general interest to the wider magic community. The event should be happening in Australia, or be accessible to Aussies.
    This might include:
    - Performances that are open to the public.
    - Magic Club meetings.
    - Magic lectures.
    - Magic conventions.
  • I use Google Calendar. How can I add my event to the OzMagic Calendar?
If you use Google Calendar then you probably already have the event in your calendar. If not, then create a new event.
Then, simply add - Calendar - as a guest to your event. We will add your event to the OzMagic calendar.
Your event will appear on the ozMagic site exactly as it appears in your Google Calendar. If you have information on your calendar that you do not wish to show on OzMagic (your fee, for example), create a new event with only the information you choose.
  • I do NOT use Google Calendar. How can I add my event to the OzMagic Calendar?
Email all of the details for your event to us. Click here. Then we can manually update the calendar.
    You should include:
    - Date and time of the event.
    - The venue.
    - One paragraph about the event.
    - One photograph or image.
    - Where more information may be found, for instance a website link, phone number, email address, etc.
    - Ticket prices.
    - Age restrictions.
