Here is an Easy to Perform Magic trick that is suitable for the everyone from the beginner in magic to the advanced professional.
This magic item was released by Ben Harris in 1999, and I believe it has been out of production for some years now. I have discovered a few in storage, and can now make them available. They are in perfect condition.
HAUNTED
Relating an ancient eastern story about spilt flour being used to entrap the footprints of ghosts, the performer indeed spills some flour on the table - shielding it from view with an examined triangular paper tube. The hidden identity of a playing card is now beamed to the nether world by a spectator. As if to prove contact from the other side, a friendly spirit gently dances in the flour, caressing it to display the name of the chosen card. When the tube is lifted, the flour has indeed revealed the selected cards identity!
SEEMINGLY GUIDED BY THE HANDS OF THE SPIRITS
Here is a rather nice BONUS IDEA for those who work in a restaurant where Cappuccinos are served. Ask the waitress to bring the chocolate shaker with her when she brings the coffee. Then sprinkle the chocolate through the HAUNTED tube to have the impression of the selected card appear outlined in chocolate on the top of the cappuccino.
Alternatively, you can use the Haunted gimmick to prepare the coffee in the kitchen and have it served with the card image already on the froth.
